| Im am wondering if the Getrag 284 tranny will bolt onto a 3.8 series 3 engine? I am not sure if the 3.4dohc engine has the same pattern, thanks |

Yes it will bolt up. And its been done. Probably the easiest tranny to go with on a Wbody.

| i believe in the 05 car it has not been done in FWD setup. there is a lot of modding the car to get it too work. you might be better off with the F40 6spd if that is really what you want. it is a stronger and new trans and alot of parts are around for it |
