This guy in one of my classes has a stock (99-04) Mustang GT convertible and today after class I found myself being tailed by him on the way home after class. After we get on the highway and we're doing about 45mph, he pulls up along side of me and so I give him a little throttle blip. He looks over, smiles, and nods his head. Shortly after, I hear him go WOT and a split second later I do the same. To put it short, it was over before it even began. Almost instantly, my car lunges forward and I put an easy 5 or 6 bus lengths on him by 85mph as my m90 screams from under the hood. I slow down as we approach his exit so he can pass along side, and he gives a wave as he makes his exit.
As far as I know his car is completely stock. Mine is far from it with the engine swap and now a 3.4 pulley and supporting mods, but I still didn't think I would have taken him as easily as I did. Fun race. I'm proud of my little grocery getter. _________________ 97 Pontiac Grand Am GT
