Subject pretty much sums it up. I can get an L67 and transmission from a 97 Riviera from a local place for a grand.
They want a $50 deposit before they start, which is fine, but I want to be sure I wont run into an issue. I know I need the axels, engine/trans, PCM. This will be going into a 2001 Monte Carlo, so will I also need the BCM?
Unfortunately, they arent interested in selling the whole car. |

Nevermind
I figured it out after almost a full day of searching here and there.
General consensus is that there is no reason not to use it, other than the age, and the fact that the heads/Diff are slightly weaker than the ones on the 99+'s
I was not able to find anything about needing the BCM in addition, other than a few things here and there about the Buick's should run the gauges on the Monte, and that a GTP's will not without some modding. |
